Have you tried it yet??? I have It wasnt hard to make either pretty easy.

I made it during a blizzard this winter. It worked pretty well for a trial run.

You may need to reinforce the structure with tape because it becomes more flimsy after removing a lot of the material.

...it was quite informative. I'll build one myself this week. You could also use PVC pipe and make it collapseable but that's more work.

I decided at the last minute not to make it. I decided that if I was going to spend time making a light box, I wanted it to be more sturdy than the one you linked to, so I ended up making the one someone posted a few months ago: http://www.pbase.com/wlhuber/light_box_light_tent .

I've taken lots of pictures, and I'm trying to decide which ones to post for comments.

I'm writing an article on a folding PVC light tent this weekend. I'll post here once it's up.
