Question about unemployment?
March 11th, 2010 Posted in portal.juzhang.com | editsecond of all, why is it so hard to get a job in california now i mean, is there any way to get a job with out waiting so long i mean jezz i can understand that the economy is so bad and all but man give me a break what are we going back to stone age or something??
i havnt worked in almost 6 months now, i need a job fast any one's got any suggestions??
While I can't speak for the CA job market, I've never had a problem finding work, even in a crap economy, when I put in the same 40 hours per week with the job search that I put in on the job when I have one.
Sitting around waiting for the phone to ring won't cut it. Contact friends, family, and former colleagues about unadvertised job openings. Most jobs are never advertised publicly and are filled through word-of-mouth and professional contacts. Working that way, I've been in the job market for nearly 40 years and never spent more than 2 weeks out of work.
