When YAers put under source: "My Brain"?

March 10th, 2010 Posted in portal.juzhang.com | edit
  • When people answer questions, and under "sources" they put "brain", "common sense", "my head", or some variant, do you take it to mean that they are implying the asker of the question wasn't using their own brain? Are they implying that it was a stupid question? Or, is it a harmless remark intended to be witty/quirky/creative?

  • lol that is funny - i would assume they're harmless...

  • It's "a harmless remark intended to be witty/quirky/creative"

People just say that because the answer come from their brains which holds their knowledge to the answer to that question.

  • no, i think a lot of times people do that to show that they thought of it.

  • It is a harmless remark intended to be witty/quirky/creative.

  • about their knowledge. not necessarily that they are saying it's a stupid question. just it's something they are claiming to know.

  • oops i accidently put that under the source

  • It is hard to guess what motivates people to use such a source. I take "Life Experience" as a source more seriously. Life is a great teacher.

  • I think it really depends on the circumstances
